ORB1TAL — Data Deletion Request
Data deletion instructions
ORB1TAL is a mobile game developed and published by Malakaay Studios.
ORB1TAL does not require users to create an account. However, some online features, such as leaderboards and Daily Voyage, may store pseudonymous gameplay data on infrastructure operated by Malakaay Studios.
Users may request deletion of data associated with their ORB1TAL pseudonymous player identity.
How to request deletion
To help us identify the correct records, include as much of the following information as you have available:
- public callsign / display name;
- player tag;
- player identifier, if visible in the app;
- approximate date of leaderboard or Daily Voyage activity;
- any other information shown in ORB1TAL that may help identify the relevant entry.
You do not need to provide a real name, password, Google account or other information that ORB1TAL does not normally require.
Data that may be deleted
Where applicable and where the records can be reasonably identified, a deletion request may cover data stored directly for ORB1TAL online services, such as:
- leaderboard entries;
- Daily Voyage entries;
- pseudonymous player identifiers associated with those records;
- generated callsign/display name and player tag associated with those records;
- equipped avatar or ship identifiers stored with competitive entries;
- score and run statistics;
- distance, planets captured, sector reached, combo and duration;
- Pure/Assisted competitive category;
- gameplay metadata linked to the requested leaderboard or Daily Voyage records;
- related timestamps associated with those records.
Deletion applies only to records that Malakaay Studios can reasonably identify and that are actually stored within ORB1TAL's own online services.
Data stored on your device
Most ORB1TAL progression and game data is stored locally on the user's device.
This may include progression, XP, Dust, Aureals, unlocked items, Awards, settings, collections and gameplay statistics.
Local data can be removed by:
- using any in-game local reset option that is available; and/or
- clearing ORB1TAL app data from Android settings; or
- uninstalling ORB1TAL.
Sending a deletion request to Malakaay Studios does not remove data stored locally on your device.
Data that may be retained
Some limited information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for:
- security;
- fraud or abuse prevention;
- maintaining the integrity of competitive records;
- resolving technical incidents or disputes;
- complying with applicable legal obligations.
Such information will only be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Third-party services
ORB1TAL uses third-party services that may independently process certain information, including Google Play, Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) and Cloudflare.
A deletion request sent to Malakaay Studios applies to data that Malakaay Studios can identify and control within ORB1TAL's own online services.
Data independently processed by third-party providers is subject to those providers' own privacy, retention and deletion practices.
